New Zealand Warriors v Penrith Panthers, Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, Friday July 14, 6pm AEST
Friday night in Auckland will see the New Zealand Warriors farewelling one of their club stalwarts. Manu Vatuvei has been released from his contract to move to the UK and while he won’t be taking to the field against the Panthers in this Round 19 clash, his teammates will want to give him a winning send off. The two sides are locked in ninth and tenth on the ladder with 18 points apiece, with both very much harbouring hopes of chasing down Parramatta in eighth spot. Despite edging the Warriors on form, having won last weekend, it is Penrith who are underdogs for this game. They are priced at $2.17 with William Hill. That is compared to the home side at $1.70 who lost last time out in Round 17. The Warriors lost to Manly who the Panthers overcame while the Kiwis were enjoying their bye. This is a particularly tough clash to call with both sides struggling for consistency this season.
Bet of the Match: New Zealand to Win by 1-12 points at $3.00

Canberra Raiders v St George Illawarra Dragons, GIO Stadium, Friday July 14, 5:30pm AEST
Both the Raiders and Dragons were not in action in Round 18 due to the bye. They, however, would not have been enjoying themselves too much as their form has dipped in recent weeks. Canberra have lost their last four including a humbling home loss to the North Queensland Cowboys prior to the bye. While mathematically possible, the top eight looks a long way away for the Raiders but it will be even more difficult if they can’t back up their tags as favourites for this game against the Dragons. They stand at $1.55 with William Hill while the Dragons are at $2.48 to claim the victory. After flying into the top four earlier in the season, the Dragons’ form has taken a huge hit recently. Last time out they went down to the Gold Coast and will need to some vast improvements if they are going to challenge the Raiders this weekend.
Bet of the Match: Canberra to Win by 13+ points at $2.90
Gold Coast Titans v Cronulla Sharks, CBus Super Stadium, Saturday July 15, 7:30pm AEST
The Titans and the Sharks will both be fresh from the bye heading into this fixture. Each will be desperate for a win but for differing reasons. Cronulla are aiming to keep the pressure on the Storm who sit top of the ladder, while the 14th-placed Gold Coast need to keep their slim hopes of Finals alive. Despite being in form having won their last two matches, the Titans are edged out by the Sharks with William Hill. The home side are priced at $2.28 compared to the Sharks at $1.65. Cronulla will be quietly confident that they can continue their push to win back to back Premierships. Especially after they so easily dispatched of the in form Roosters 44-12 in their last match in Round 17 before the bye.
