Florida was seeded #1 for the SEC tourney and Kentucky came in as #2 and they reach the title game as expected. Kentucky is ranked #16 in the country was able to defeat Alabama on its way to the finals. The Florida Gators handled Vanderbilt on their way to the showdown. Kentucky is attempting to repeat as champions of the conference. Let’s preview  each team and before you place your bet we will check the odds at Centrebet and make our expert pick.
Kentucky Overview

Kentucky enters with a record of 24-8 for the season after they palce five players in double figures asn dispatched Alabama by a score of 72-58. The Wildcats have won five games in a row. On offense they are led by Doron Lamb and DeAndre Liggins and are joined by Brandon Knight. In the previous game Knight had seven assists and 12 points to seal the victory.  Look for Terrence Jones to carry the team with his 17 point average, 9 rebounds, and almost 2 blocks per game. He had 11 double-doubles for the season.
Florida Overview

The Florida Gators are currently 25-6 on the season and successfully won ten of their last eleven games. The offense is balanced by the play of SEC Player of the Year Chandler Parsons and guards Erving walker and Kenny Boynton. Center Vernon Macklin has come on the second half of the season as he finished 2nd in the SEC in field goal percentage.
Pick and Prediction

These two teams have met twice this year. In the first game Florida was able to squeak by with a 70-68 victory on their home court. In that game the free throw shooting was the difference as they shot 18 of 22. In the second meeting at Rupp Arena, Kentucky walked away with a 76-68 victory. The Gators have won nine of the last fourteen games between these two teams.

These teams know each other very well. The stars on the team will be well guarded so it is relegated to the other regulars to pick up any slack that may develop. Both teams are in the NCAA tourney and if Florida wins they are likely to secure a #2 seed and a loss may see them drop to a #4. Kentucky is looking at a #3 if they win and a #4 or #5 if they lose. The odds at Centrebet -1 Florida is a tough call but our free pick for your bet is Florida -1 to cover this game.

Our Pick: Florida -1 at Centrebet
