LAST week’s multi started out like a house on fire.
Sydney saluted at $2.75 as tipped, while the Cowboys got the job done in the Queensland Derby, paying $1.85
For a couple of days there, we were convinced we were going to salute yet again at the beautiful odds of $20/1.
Then Sunday happened.
Instead of holding on to a very generous +66.5 line, the GWS Giants decided to throw in the towel against West Coast and threw away our multi in a 111-point loss.
Southampton also couldn’t do the business for us and finish the EPL season on a high, drawing with Manchester United.
The multi was over.
This week we’re bouncing back with a mixture of tips for a huge Thursday of sport at home and around the globe.
As always, even though this is a multi that you would have to put on with one online bookmaker, AustralianGambling has still gone out to find the best odds for each individual leg, just in case you want to bet on them individually.
Opening multiple online accounts costs nothing, so make sure you’re always taking home the biggest profits!
Let’s get this show on the road.
Europa League Final – Sevilla vs. Benfica: Thursday, May 15
Tip: Under 2.5 goals to be scored, paying $1.73 with Centrebet.com (normal time only)
Both Sevilla and Benfica have done tremendously well to reach the ultimate stage of this competition, however neither are in recent dazzling form as they prepare for the Europa League Final. Both have struggled to find the back of the net of late, so expect a tightly-fought and low-scoring affair, to be decided by the team with the stronger defence.
Sevilla: two goals in previous four games
Benfica: four goals in previous five games
AFL Thursday – Collingwood vs. Adelaide
Collingwood, armed with a full-strength line-up and in red-hot form, will be way too strong for the Crows at Adelaide Oval. Surprisingly, after winning four games in a row against more-fancied opposition, the Magpies have only been penalised by 13.5 points against an Adelaide team that just lost to cellar-dwellar Melbourne at home. This is a banker folks.
NHL Playoffs – Thursday
Tip: Montreal Canadiens to defeat Boston Bruins, paying $2.60 at Sportsbet.com.au (better than $2.45 at Centrebet).
The two giants of the Atlantic division go to game seven in search of a spot in the Eastern Conference finals. Montreal has the momentum after a dominant 4-0 result at home earlier in the week, and at this price, the Canadian crew are excellent value to humble the Bruins in New England.
Tanaka is the new up-and-coming face of the Yankees and his pitching so far this season has been excellent. He is a rare seven-pitch ace and, along with the powerful hitting lineup of the Yankees, they should be too strong for their cross town rivals.
– Europa Final – Under 2.5 goals to be scored, paying $1.73
– Collingwood to cover the -13.5 line against Adelaide, paying $1.91
– Montreal Canadiens to defeat Boston Bruins, paying $2.60
– Yankees to beat the Mets, paying $1.52
Combined multi odds: $13.05 at Sportsbet.com.au
