Both semi-finals of the Carabao Cup are poised to deliver thrilling second legs with Manchester City holding a one goal advantage over Bristol City. Whilst Chelsea and Arsenal remained goalless in the first leg meaning all is to play for at the Emirates Stadium.
Bristol City v Manchester City, Wednesday 24th January, 6.45am (AEDT)
EPL leaders Manchester City needed an injury time winner from Sergio Aguero to record victory in the first leg against Bristol City. Indeed, they had to come from behind to stop Bristol securing an historic win at the Etihad. In the league City continue to go from strength to strength and have their sights set on what would be an incredible quadruple collection of trophies in one season. With a one goal advantage and an incomparable wealth of talent, the EPL side are favourites to reach the final priced at $1.20.
Bristol City have already caused an upset at home against a Manchester giant in this competition. As they defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the quarter finals to set up this tie. This will give them real hope of overturning the score and the odds against City. They will have to be at their best once again, however, with Pep Guardiola’s men in sensational form. Bristol City stand at $12 with a draw at $6, although a draw would see Manchester City advance on aggregate.

Arsenal v Chelsea, Thursday 25th January, 7am (AEDT)
Any game between these two great London rivals has the capacity to be a cracker. The first leg, however, failed to deliver with both sides failing to take their chances. Chelsea were arguably the side to be most disappointed with a draw as they missed a number of opportunities to secure the win. They hold a slight edge over Arsenal heading into the match priced at $2.30. Chelsea returned to winning way this weekend with a 4-0 win over Brighton in the EPL after a run of five draws in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Arsenal bounced back from defeat to Bournemouth to register an emphatic 4-1 win over struggling Crystal Palace. They will be without the services of Alexis Sanchez as his transfer to Manchester United has been completed although fans could get a first glimpse of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. With the transfer saga now behind them Arsenal can concentrate with the issues on the pitch. Prior to the win over Palace Arsenal had looked void of attacking threat but they sprung to life in that game. They will need to continue in that form if they are to overturn a price of $2.80 to beat Chelsea.
A draw stands at $3.40 and is settled on the score after 90 minutes plus injury time. A possible scenario with this two sides which would lead to extra time and penalties.
