More than a quarter of the English Premier League season has already been played and there remains three undefeated teams: Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both in good form as well, with the Gunners winning their past 10 matches in all competitions.
Fulham versus Bournemouth
Sunday, 28 October 2018 at 1am at Craven Cottage, London
The Cottagers are in the relegation zone after nine games with just one win to their name so far this season.
They start this crucial fixture against Bournemouth as $2.80 underdogs, with the Cherries priced at $2.37 to win. The draw is paying $3.50.
It has been another stellar season for Eddie Howe’s men on the South Coast as they are sitting pretty in sixth spot on the table.
They have already gathered 17 points thanks to five wins and two draws this campaign.
They were held to a 0-0 draw against Southampton last weekend, but have not lost since they were trounced 4-0 at Burnley in late September.
It’s a different story for Fulham who have struggled in their top flight return.
Their last points in the Premier League came more than a month ago in a 1-1 draw at home against Watford.
Since then they have conceded 12 goals in three games, while scoring just three.
They have the worst defensive record in the Premier League and that was highlighted last weekend, when they shipped four goals away to Cardiff.
These teams have never met in the Premier League and there are sure to be plenty of goals on Sunday morning.
We are going to back the home side to get out of their funk and win an entertaining match.
Best bet- Fulham to win at $2.80.
Southampton versus Newcastle
Sunday, 28 October 2018 at 1am at St Mary’s, Southampton
The Saints are ever so slowly getting their season going and perhaps last weekend’s plucky point away at Bournemouth will give them the confidence they need to grab a win at home this weekend.
They host the bottom-placed side in the division Newcastle in what is already a big game for both sides.
Southampton is a $2 home favourite in this one, with Newcastle outsiders at $3.75. The draw is paying $3.30.
It has been a horrible campaign for the Magpies thus far and they are without a win from nine games.
Just two points from a possible 27 is not the start Rafa Benitez and the club’s fans are after, with last week’s 1-0 home loss to Brighton rubbing salt in their wound.
Southampton’s form isn’t much better, but they’ve played reasonably well this season and will have the run of the play against a Newcastle team down on confidence.
It is near-impossible to back Newcastle in current form, so we are tipping Southampton to get all three points in this one.
Best bet- Southampton to win at $2.
Crystal Palace versus Arsenal
Sunday, 28 October 2018 at 11:30pm at Selhurst Park, London
It has been far from a dazzling start to the season for Crystal Palace, winners of just two games, despite boasting a strong squad this season.
They have the tough task of stopping one of the in-form teams in Europe right now, as Arsenal has won 10 games on the trot.
Palace starts this one as $4 underdogs, with Arsenal priced at $1.85. The draw is paying $3.60.
Working in Palace’s favour is the fact that Arsenal has to travel to Portugal to play Sporting Lisbon in a Europa League match on Friday morning (AEDST), although continental play has yet to prove a challenge for the Gunners, as they have won both of their league games following a midweek fixture this season.
Palace was unlucky to lose 2-0 to Everton, given they had a missed penalty after 60 minutes and conceded two late goals, the second of which was by counter attack.
Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil grabbed all the headlines after the team’s 3-1 win against Leicester on Tuesday morning.
The German international was tremendous and a part of all three Gunners goals in a man of the match display.
It would be a brave punter to step in front of an Arsenal train going at full speed like it is right now. They are playing their best football in years and it would be a surprise if a team like Palace could stop that momentum.
Best bet- Arsenal to win at $1.85.
