The Golden State Warriors hold a commanding 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference finals series with the Houston Rockets after a 126-85 win on Monday.
The Warriors are now $1.14 to win the Western Conference with the Rockets $5.50 outsiders.
Golden State has now won 16 consecutive home playoff games at the Oracle Arena, a new NBA record, surpassing the Chicago Bulls’ mark of 15 games set in the 1990s.
Steph Curry came to play in game three scoring 35 points, including 7-7 in the third quarter.
The Warriors once again got points from Kevin Durant who scored 25 points, with six players in total scoring in double figures.
The game blew out in the final quarter with the Warriors winning that period 38-18, but the match was well and truly over early in the third quarter when the Warriors went on a 10-0 run to open.
There were few positives for the Rockets who attempted only 34 three-point attempts, which is a low number for the team who set an NBA record for the most three-point attempts this season.
James Harden scored 20 points to lead the Rockets but they were woefully outmatched from the opening tip.
Houston had 19 turnovers, which resulted in 28 Golden State points, an advantage of 20 points in that category for the home team.
The Warriors to win the series in five games is paying $2.40 at Sportsbet with the shorter odds about the series ending in six games at $2.20.
A seven-game series looks unlikely on current form and is paying $4.
The Warriors to win the series by a 4-1 ($2.47) or 4-2 ($2.37) scoreline are the favourites in the correct score market.
The Rockets best chance appears to be winning in seven games, which is currently paying $7.20.
Game four of this series takes place on Wednesday in Oakland, with the Warriors a shorter price than they were to win game three.
Golden State are $1.23 in the head-to-head market at Sportsbet, with the Rockets $4.40 outsiders.
None of the three games in this series thus far have been decided by under 10 points, with the Warriors to win game four by 11+ paying $2.16. The Rockets to get an 11+ point win is paying $13.75.
The opening handicap favours the Warriors by 8.5 points at $1.95 after their 41 point win in game three.
Golden State are the runaway Championship favourites at $1.30. The Rockets are $6.50, with Eastern Conference teams the Celtics ($10) and Cavaliers ($12) rounding out the market.
