The Los Angeles Rams are the new favourites to win Super Bowl 53 after a 35-23 win against the Los Angeles Chargers in week 3 of the 2018 NFL season.
Jared Goff threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams who are $6 to win February’s Super Bowl.
They are 3-0 this season and lead the NFC West. The Chargers have only defeated the Buffalo Bills this season and have dropped to 1-2. They are $21 to win the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots were pre-season Super Bowl favourites but dropped their second consecutive game this week, losing 26-10 to Detroit.
The Patriots are priced at $9 to win the Super Bowl and are having issues on both sides of the ball this season.
Tom Brady threw only 133 yards in the loss, while the Pats defence was on the field for almost the entire first half.
It is the Lions’ first win of the season as Patriots former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia got a win against his mentor Bill Belichick. Detroit is $81 to win the Super Bowl.
Last season’s champions the Philadelphia Eagles welcomed back quarterback Carson Wentz and snuck past Indianapolis 20-16.
Wentz threw for 255 yards in his comeback game, with one interception and one touchdown.
A 17 play, 75-yard drive that took 11 minutes in the fourth quarter was match winning for the Eagles, who move to 2-1 on the season. They are $10 to win the Super Bowl.
Kansas City won its home opener with a 38-27 win against the San Francisco 49ers.
Rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been a revelation this season and was again impressive this week, with three touchdowns and 314 yards.
The Chiefs are third favourites to win the Super Bowl at $10.
The 49ers lost quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a suspected ACL injury late in the game and fall to 1-2.
It is also an undefeated start for the Miami Dolphins who beat Oakland 28-20 at Miami Gardens. They are $51 to win the Super Bowl.
Ryan Tannehill was impressive once again with 289 yards and three touchdowns, while the Raiders rushed for 109 yards.
The Cleveland Browns won their first match since the 2016 season after a 21-17 comeback win against the New York Jets.
Starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor went off injured and was replaced by number one pick Baker Mayfield, who produced enormous dividends in his first NFL game.
Mayfield threw for 201 yards in less than a half of play to energise the Cleveland fanbase. Both teams are 1-2 this season.
Buffalo produced the most stunning upset of the season, beating Minnesota 27-6.
The Bills were 17-point underdogs as they stunned the Vikings at home in a dominant performance. They led 27-0 at half-time, as the Vikings couldn’t get anything going in a very poor display.
Josh Allen had a touchdown and 196 yards in his first start for Buffalo. Minnesota is $11 to win the Super Bowl.
It was a shoot out in Atlanta between the Saints and Falcons. Matches between the two teams have often produced big scores and this match was no exception.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees led a 15 play, 80-yard drive in overtime to secure the win for the Saints, who move to 2-1 this season. They are $13 to win the Super Bowl. Atlanta is 1-2 this season and $26 to win the Super Bowl.
Washington ($51) and the New York Giants ($67) both got their first wins of the season against Green Bay ($12) and Houston respectively ($67).
It was a disappointing result for Jacksonville ($12) as it failed to back up a win against the Patriots with a dour 9-6 home loss to Tennessee ($51).
The Chicago Bears ($51), Seattle Seahawks ($101) and Baltimore Ravens ($26) were among the other week three winners.
