Week 9 of the 2017 NFL season has rolled around, with a number of teams desperate to win and keep their playoff hopes alive.
Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles
Monday, 6 November 2017, 5am AEDST
This could be a danger game for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Denver Broncos are coming off a big division loss on the road to the Kansas City Chiefs and have made a change at quarterback.
Trevor Siemian has been replaced by Brock Osweiler, with coach Vance Joseph hoping the change will wake up his team’s offence.
The Broncos will need some strong play on the defensive end to keep this close. The addition of Jay Ajayi to the Eagles adds another layer to their rushing attack.
The Broncos have defended the rush well, but their pass defense has been less than satisfactory.
The Eagles are the much better team in this one, but the NFL has a habit of throwing up some funny results.
After Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz struggled last week against the 49ers defense, we think the Broncos will provide much more of a challenge.
The Eagles will win, but we’re backing the Broncos with the points start.

Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars
Monday, 6 November 2017 at 5am
The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off a bye week and shut out of the Indianapolis Colts last start. The Bengals needed a late pick-6 to escape with a win against the Colts at home last week.
The Jaguars defence is performing at a high level this year, leading the NFL in sacks.
The Bengals had a poor start to the season, but have recovered somewhat. They are still clearly second best to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the division. If they have playoff hopes, this is a game they have to pick up.
We don’t think they will though. The Jaguars will be well rested and waiting for the Bengals.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton should be able to keep this one close, but the Jags will have too much firepower on the ground and in defense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Monday, 6 November 2017 at 5am
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been the biggest disappointment of the 2017 NFL season thus far. At 2-5, the Bucs have been poor in all aspects of play and need a victory on the road if they are to salvage their season.
They are taking on NFL South rival New Orleans.
The Saints defence has been much stronger in the past 5 games compared to how it started the season. The Saints defence was tested against the likes of the Patriots and succumbed. They won’t be the first defence to do so with Tom Brady under centre.
The Bucs are 18th in scoring and 29th in rushing, despite being 4th in yardage. They can’t finish off their drives, but Drew Brees and the Saints can.
New Orleans should be too strong here and effectively end Tampa’s season.
Best bet: New Orleans Saints -6.5 & Over 57.5 at $4.50 at Sportsbet
