Four teams have already qualified for the next Round of the Champions League following last week’s ties. Another eight teams will be cut in half as they go in search of glory.
Manchester United v Sevilla, Wednesday 14th March 2018, 6.45am (AEDT)
A goalless draw in Sevilla courtesy in large parts to the excellence of United goalkeeper David de Gea, has given the English side the chance to progress from the tie. With home advantage behind them United should have too much quality within their squad for Sevilla to deal with but the Spaniards could pose the threat of an upset. Injury worries over Paul Pogba could rule the United midfielder out, although his replacement Scott McTominany impressed in their EPL win over Liverpool. They stand at $1.57 to win the match on the night and $1.43 to qualify.
Since the first leg, Sevilla have had mixed fortunes in domestic matches winning two and losing two. On a huge night for the club though, expect them to raise their game in front of the Old Trafford faithful and their travelling supporters. They are priced at $6 to win the match and at $2.69 to progress. A score draw would be enough for Sevilla to advance on the away goals rule and a draw stands at $3.75.

Barcelona v Chelsea, Thursday 15th March 2018, 6.45am (AEDT)
This tie rests of a knife edge following Lionel Messi’s late equaliser in the first leg at Stamford Bridge. Whilst it provides the safety net of an away goal, Barcelona will be hoping to not need any technicalities to advance. At the Nou Camp, they are capable of beating any side in world football on their day. They are unbeaten in domestic competition since they last faced Chelsea and have lots of firepower up front to challenge the English sides defence. Barcelona are favourites to win the match priced at $1.36 and in turn to qualify for the next Round at $1.17.
Chelsea, meanwhile, face an uphill struggle to get the better of the Spanish giants. They stand at $4.60 to qualify and $7.50 to win the 2nd leg. Chelsea’s best hopes would appear to be a draw at $4.50, although it would have to be a higher scoring draw than 1-1 for away goals to work in their favour. Their hopes received a much-needed boost as they returned to winning ways in the EPL this weekend with a hard fought 2-1 win over strugglers Crystal Palace.
