eCOGRA Testing AgencyThe Republic of Croatia has given its full approval to eCOGRA (the eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance body), and recognised the gaming company as an independent remote gambling testing and player protection agency.

Croatia becomes the 12th European licensing and regulatory jurisdiction to officially acknowledge eCOGRA’s credentials – eCOGRA currently maintains audit, monitoring and testing arrangements under the licensing jurisdictions of Alderney, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Spain, the United Kingdom, and now Croatia.

eCOGRA chief executive Andrew Beveridge explained achieving accreditation with the Republic of Croatia was a stringent and thorough process involving reviews of the eCOGRA program by Croatian finance officials.

“This is the 12th European regulatory jurisdiction to acknowledge our suitability as a testing agency, which widens our value to clients in the sphere of professional regulatory advice and testing. We are now servicing a large percentage of the industry’s major remote gambling operators and software suppliers,” Beveridge said.

Beveridge and his company will continue to “seek accreditation” to ensure other regulatory jurisdictions are operating under legitimate and authorised watch within the remote (online) gaming industry.
