Australia will go in to today’s match with their 3rd ODI captain after Clarke has been rested and Cameron White has been given the nod to take over the riegns.
And it’s a pretty good time to be in the leaders role as Australia are 5-1 up in the series and eyeing off a 6-1 series result against the Ashes nemesis.
The switch in captains is opportune for Australia with Clarke only in his last one dayer coming to grips with balancing the role and maintaining his batting proficiency. Todays test gives selectors an potential 3rd string to their bow as Australia head to the World Cup.
Australia too will be without Clarke, Watson, Lee and Michael Hussey. Adam Voges comes in, and Jason Krejza makes his one day debut.
