This clash could not have happened at a better time. This match has turned into a huge rivalry in recent times because of the sheer amount of times they have met, especially in the Champions League. To heat it all up Chelsea have signed Fernando Torres and will be starting him up front while Liverpool won’t be starting Carroll. They will be however, starting Suarez.
Chelsea Betting Preview
Chelsea have only just come back into form of late and will have to capitalise of Manchester United’s loss at Wolves last night. They have Torres up front and also have Luiz available if they want to play him at the back for the injured Alex.
Liverpool Betting Preview
Liverpool have won their last three matches in a row for the first time since Torres was on fire earlier in the season. Suarez made a stunning impact on his first match for the club and will be looking to carry on with that form in this match. Former Chelsea players Joe Cole is unlikely to play with injury.
Chelsea vs Liverpool Best Bet and Prediction
Both of these teams have won their last three matches in a row. They are returning to the form they need to compete at the top of the league. A Chelsea win here will mean that they cut United’s lead to 7 points while Liverpool need the 3 points to stay in touch with the top four.
This will be a highly entertaining match and one that I believe will be one of the biggest of the year. I am a Chelsea fan so call me a little biased if you will, but they clearly have the better players on the park and their home ground advantage.
I find it difficult to see a Liverpool outfit coming to Stamford Bridge and coming away with 3 points.
Chelsea to win 2-0. Win pays $1.60 at Sportingbet.
