This match is a battle of the cellar dwellers and both will be fighting to escape the relegation zone. After the run of results last night that saw both Wolves and Wigan come up with victories, they are both perilously close to being relegated this season if they don’t pick up their act.
West Ham Betting Preview
West Ham lost their FA Cup semi-final match to Birmingham after the Blues had a spirited come back. They’ll be looking for revenge in the morning (AEST) and Robbie Keane will be looking to score against the team he snubbed for West Ham.
The Hammers home for is 3-4-5 14/19 – but their recent form has been decent enough to warrant favouritism in this match.
Birmingham City Betting
Birmingham have been starting slowly to their matches of late, and won’t want that trend to continue into the serious end of the season. The came from behind against West Ham in the FA, and snagged a draw in their last match as well.
They will be without striker Andy Johnson and new signing Obafemi Martins doesn’t look like he’ll arrive in him. They’ll more than likely go with Zigic up front.
West Ham vs Birmingham Best Bet and Prediction
This match could go either way, and I personally won’t be betting on it for that reason. I give West Ham a slight edge with Robbie Keane up front along with the home ground advantage.
West Ham: $2.00
Birmingham City: $3.75
West Ham to win 1-0.
