Last night there were a couple of surprising results that went against me. While Portsmouth had been improving of late, I didn’t think they would win away to Wolves. I did predict that there was a likely chance that Sunderland would draw against Man Utd. If you took that piece of advice you would have been able to get $6.50.
Sunday night’s games include the Chelsea vs Liverpool blockbuster. Chelsea are coming off their first loss in the EPL under Carlo Ancelotti while Liverpool lost mid-week in their European tie. Big games that Chelsea are involved in tend to favour ending in draw.
With that being said, you can jump on the draw @ $3.20 on Sportsbet. Chelsea are paying $2.07 and Liverpool are $3.75 outsiders. Games like this can go either way, but Chelsea have been the more consistent team and are playing at home. I am leaning towards them, but if history is anything to go by the draw will pan out.
The early game on Sunday night is between Arsenal and Blackburn. The Gunners have been gathering momentum of late and are short priced favourites at $1.20. I can’t seem them not getting the 3 points here. The draw is $6.00 and Rover are paying $15.00. I would include the Arsenal win in your multis to add some value.
West Ham vs Fulham are playing at 1am on Monday morning AEST. This is my best tip of the round. Fulham have been outstanding this year while the Hammers have been disappointing. There is so much value for Fulham here it’s not worth missing out on. They are paying $3.50, purely because they are playing away. West ham are @ $2.15 and the draw is at $3.20.
Everton vs Stoke City Time Cahill scored mid-week for Everton as their return to form continues. They are at home to Stoke, and a great bet if you ask me. They are paying $1.53 for the win. At Goodison park they will be to strong. Stoke don’t play well away form home, so I expect them to do it easily.
Certain money bet. Get on Everton at $1.53. They will win.
The late game is being played between Aston Villa and Man City at 6am AEST. Man City were desperately unlucky against Man Utd in a game they did not deserve to lose. They have been holding their own all season and deserve to be up the top of the table. They are facing an Aston Villa side that is not as strong as last year. They have been gaining results without playing well. This will be a tough game for them.
The question I have over this game is whether Man City can recover from their last start loss. It will be hard to pick up from that, and I was considering betting on the draw. But looking at their form all season and the talent they have in their squad I am going to take them for the win.
There are solid odds available for Man City who are slight favourites @ $2.60. Aston Villa are paying $2.70, with the draw at $3.25.

Just to sum up the best bets for the EPL on October 4th, I will be getting on Fulham @ $3.50 against West Ham. My other favourite is Everton to beat Stoke City @ $1.53.
Don’t sit on the sidelines, get on it.
