Earlier this morning we saw Germany take apart England 4-1 in match that will no doubt be remembered for the Lampard strike that crossed the line, but wasn’t awarded a goal.
Argentina Vs Mexico ended in a 3-1 victory to the Argentinians, another match riddled with controversy. Carlos Tevez scored after being offside by a significant margin.
Netherlands will be too strong in this one. Slovakia don’t offer much in the way of attacking and the Dutch are good enough to break down a resilient Slovakian defense.
Brazil haven’t been lighting the 2010 World Cup thus far, but they have been getting the results.
Chile won their first two matches before going down to Spain. Chile have been performing well and I think they’ll learn from their match against Spain. That, along with the fact that both of these teams are from South America and know each other extremely well, should make for a tight contest.
I think this match will go down to the wire, not an easy prediction like the betting suggests.
Get on the overs in the Chile Vs Brazil match. More than 2.5 goals is paying $2.20 at Sportingbet. This will be a free flowing affair, and if last night’s matches are anything to go by, there will be plenty of goals.
