Bulgarian online casino games supplier EGT Interactive has taken further steps in implementing its European expansion in its new deal with French gambling group, Betclic.
As reported by Casino News Daily, the terms of the deal see Betclic and its Expekt operation go live with EGT Interactive’s library of online slots. Betclic and Expekt players now have access to EGT Interactive hit titles including 40 Super Hot, Amazons’ Battle, The Story of Alexander, and Shining Crown.
The new deal not only increases EGT Interactive’s network of customers but also enables EGT to enter the newly reorganized Swedish online gambling market for the first time. EGT Interactive titles are now live with Betclic’s Expekt brand in their jurisdiction.
Sweden liberalised online gaming earlier this year to open it to international operators. Betclic has been among the companies that are licensed by the local regulator, Spelinspektionen, to service Swedish gambling customers in a regulated environment.
EGT Interactive’s commercial deal with Betclic also sees it cementing its footprint across the Portuguese gaming market. Betclic was the first operator to go live in Portugal following the reorganisation of the country’s iGaming space. Betclic launched sports betting operations in May 2016 and was licensed to provide online casino services to local players later that year.
EGT Interactive has also announced in the past week it had teamed up with Lottoland, a Gibraltar-based online gambling operator that is best known for offering bets on the results of over 30 different lottery draws.
Under the deal, Lottoland will diversify its online casino offering with some of EGT Interactive’s most popular online gaming titles.
In relation to the deal, EGT Interactive CEO Todor Zahariev said “we are delighted to sign this agreement with such a trusted and serious partner as Betclic Group. For the first time our content is available for the Swedish players under Expekt brand and we are looking forward to a new jurisdiction under this partnership.
Nevertheless, we continue our solid growth in the well- known Portuguese and Maltese regulated markets with Betclic Group following our goal for extensive distribution.”

We are confident that their high-quality casino content will add further value to our players experience. Expekt team is particularly proud to provide such a nice new slots titles to their Swedish market.“
