Just days after receiving a local gaming license in Sweden, online casino and sportsbook operator GVC Holdings has launched Sweden-facing versions of its partypoker.com and bwin.com domains.
A press release from the Isle of Man-listed company announced the news, with both brands now offering a dedicated .se website extension.
An Android mobile app is also available, with an iOs version expected in the coming days according to the press release.
bwin.se will build upon the company’s existing framework from its European sports betting brand to offer pre-event and in-play betting on a wide variety of sports.
Swedish customers will be able to access GVC’s casino offer, boasting content from 33 leading third-party gaming developers such as NetEnt AB and Red Tiger Gaming Limited.
This includes unique titles created by GVC’s in-house studio, as well as more than 650 slots and live table games.
partypoker.se will be a localised adaptation of its premier poker brand, PartyPoker.com.
Swedish players will have access to popular tournaments such as The Power Series, Daily Majors and Super Sunday.

Sit & Go Jackpots where punters can net a prize of more than $1 million when winning three hands will also be available.
The liquidity pool of players at the website will allow Swedish customers to find a game level that suits them.
GVC’s Chief Operating Officer Shay Segev commented on the launch saying: “we are delighted to get the year off to a positive start with the launch of bwin.se and partypoker.se.”
GVC controls a number of online sites across Europe in addition to bwin and partypoker.
These include Ladbrokes, bwin Spain Casino, bwin Spain Sportsbook, Sportingbet UK, Party Casino, Gamebookers and many others.
The impact of the news on the company’s share price was not evident when news broke on January 2, with the GVC stock price dropping 0.51 per cent on the London Stock Exchange to trade at US$8.58.
In March 2018, GVC Holdings took control of the popular Ladbrokes Coral Group, including the UK Ladbrokes and Coral bookmaker estates.
These brands will complement GVC’s main sports betting website bwin, with core markets in Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Belgium.
