Fri, Jun 7, 8:51am by Staff Writer

A retiree from the New South Wales town of Casino has snagged the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize, with news of his unexpected win leaving him lost for words.

The Lott is reporting that the lucky winner took out the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10292, drawing on Wednesday June 5.

NSW Lotteries officials contacted the winner this afternoon to break the news of his $100,000 prize.

“That’s great news! Thank you so much!” he said.

“I feel very excited!”

“I hadn’t bought a lottery ticket in a long time so I thought I’d give it a go.”

“I can’t believe I’ve actually won!”

The winner said he’d have to take some time to let the news digest before deciding exactly how he’ll use his prize.

“I really can’t think at the moment. I don’t know what I’ll do,” he said.

“I’m going to have to really think about it!”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Goonellabah Newsagency.

Employee Jenni Sharpe said she was over the moon to hear her customer had won.

“We’re thrilled that we can make someone’s life a bit easier,” she said.

“We’ve had quite a few big wins at the outlet, we’re pretty lucky here!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $70.36 million for draw 1340 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.54 million for draw 10293.

Victorian man to give Lotto win to family

A generous man in Victoria had his morning routine interrupted early this week by a life changing phone call that declared him a millionaire from winning division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Woodend man held one of the three division one winning entries nationally, in the draw on Saturday, June 1.

When asked how he planned to spend his windfall, the thrilled winner confessed his beloved families were at the top of this Lotto List.

“I will probably give it to my family,” the generous man revealed.

“There will be something for myself in there too. Probably a holiday but I am not sure where yet. I’ll have to see where the wind takes me.”

The regular player purchased his 12-game marked entry at Woodend Newsagency.

Owner Darren Cahill said his team was excited to have sold their first division one winning entry in ten years.

“We’ve sold three division one winning entries over the past 25 years, but it has been about 10 years since our last division one win,” he explained.

“We’ll be sharing the news with our customers and they will be so excited and amazed to hear we’ve sold a winner.”

“We are so excited for our winner and hope they do something great with the prize.”

The winning numbers in draw 3951 were 25, 20, 6, 9, 27, 31 and the supplementary numbers were 36 and 2.

Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries, two from Victoria and one from South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 150 so far this calendar year, including 71 won by Tatts customers

In the 12 months to December 31, 2018, there were 280 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
