Asia-focused online gambling provider QTech Games announced dates for its next network slot tournament.
Casino News Daily reports the tournament will run from October 10 to 30 and feature a $15,000 prize pool.
QTech Games’ popular promotional tool QT Tournament will power the QT Double Up Championship.
The slot tournament will be held in association with QTech’s partner providers Boongo, August Gaming and Epic Media.
QTech Games’ rewards tool QT Tournament enables gambling operators to create their own tournaments by selecting from QTech Games’ entire library of products.
The tool also makes it possible for operators to pick specific games and game studios they want to promote.
QTech Games says its QT Tournament marketing tool provides online gambling providers with a plethora of opportunities to secure additional exposure and sustainability.
And for operators, the tool aims to improve their acquisition and retention rates via offers that entitle players to hefty wins from small wagers.
As stated by QTech Games, its QT Tournament product has performed more than well, growing unique-player numbers by an average of 30 to 50 per cent over the course of a tournament.
In addition, in the ten days after a tournament, the augmented player activity is maintained at a 10 per cent higher level compared to the days leading up to the tournament.
QT Tournament is the latest innovative product by QTech Games as the company is looking to cement its footprint across emerging markets in Asia.
At present, QTech Games is one of the fastest growing providers of gambling software in Asia.
The company operates a fully-owned platform and constantly adds gaming titles by some of the industry’s biggest content developers and suppliers to distribute them to Asia-facing operators.
QTech Games says its growth strategy involves becoming the largest provider of digital entertainment in Asia by 2021.
In addition to the benefits providers and operators are able to utilize with QT Tournament, the tool also treats players to a number of key features aimed at improving experience.
For instance, players can see their score and position displayed on the screen via a leaderboard widget.
This means that they will no longer have to return to the homepage to check their status in one tournament or another.
QTech Games believes such widgets can boost engagement levels by improving players’ dwell time and repeat plays as contest participants hunt for a hefty payout.
QT Tournament can either be configured as an open promotion for all or customized to specific games and providers.
Commenting on their growth strategy, QTech Games CEO Markus Nasholm said that their modus operandi is “one integration for all emerging markets.”
The executive went on that as the European market becomes more and more competitive, there is a need “for one partner for all emerging territories.”
According to Mr Nasholm, having “all the right games and products readily at your disposal” is one of the key components for prolonged success in the online gambling industry.

Online gaming provider ORYX Gaming has added casino content by Red Tiger Gaming to enhance the offering available on its ORYX Hub platform.
Under the terms of a recently signed deal between the two companies, Red Tiger’s entire portfolio of online slots and table games has been integrated on ORYX Hub, Casino News Daily reported in July.
