Two gaming heavyweights link up

Spanish casino games creator Red Rake Gaming will be able to further boost its presence through a strategic partnership with leading iGaming software provider Microgaming.

Casino News Daily under the terms of a recently inked deal between the two companies, Red Rake will be able to integrate its most popular slots and video bingo games with Microgaming’s platform.

The move will provide Red Rake with access to a large network of international online gambling operators.

The Spanish content studio will add a suite of popular slots, including Bonnie & Clyde, Tiger and Dragon, Knights, The Asp of Cleopatra and Super12Stars, one of its best performing 2019 releases, to Microgaming’s platform that already contains titles by a number of top content suppliers.

Red Rake’s games feature a wide variety of mechanics, metrics, themes, features and bonus games to ensure that its portfolio includes titles for every taste.

The Spanish company said that its partnership with Microgaming was in line with its strategy to expand and grow its reach across regulated markets.

The agreement with the leading Isle of Man-headquartered provider followed a series of similar deals penned by Red Rake over the past year.

The company has teamed up with a number of major providers and gambling operators to expand in some of Europe’s biggest markets, including Portugal, the UK, Greece, Spain and Ukraine, among others.

The company also obtained a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority this year and relocated part of its operations in Malta to secure further growth and expansion.

Microgaming establishing itself as a world leader

Commenting on their partnership with Microgaming, Red Rake’s managing director in Malta Nick Barr said that the Isle of Man-provider has “built up a hugely successful global business” and has established itself as one of the market leaders.

Mr Barr added that the recently penned deal with Microgaming allows his company to increase its market share in key existing markets, such as Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Romania, but also “opens doors to enter new markets, which are already under review, providing our clients with ease of access to our content to grow their expansion strategies.”

Microgaming Director of Global Operations James Buchanan commented that his company will provide Red Rake with access to new territories and casino brands and that they are “delighted to enhance our library of diverse and innovative content with Red Rake’s varied and popular slot offering.”

Mr Buchanan also noted that their collaboration with the Spanish game developer signals their “continued commitment” to bring diverse and entertaining content to the ever-growing and highly competitive online gambling market.

Microgaming celebrated last week another big win on its flagship progressive jackpot slot Mega Moolah.

A Genesis Casino player has hit a 3.2 million euro jackpot on the popular game after staking just 7.25 euro.

Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has awarded more than 1.1 billion euro since its inception.
