The Australian Gambling staff didn’t have the best week on the punt, but we did manage to come out in front in both NRL and Racing.
Our best result came in the NRL when we backed the Sydney Roosters to beat the Cronulla Sharks, and thanks to the boot of Michael Gordon, we collected a more than handy return of $3.20.
That match wasn’t the only thriller played out in the penultimate weekend of the season, we also had the Sea Eagles to beat the Warriors, which they did by a score of 22-21, which saw $3 go into the AG account.
We had a solid day at the track on Saturday, with our best bet at Rosehill – Alward – saluting in the fourth race, which gave us a win of $2.20 and $1.40 for the place.
Our good form continued at Moonee Valley, when Heatherly came second in the seventh race, which netted us a small return of $1.40.
The last round of the AFL season was played out over the weekend, but our AFL tipster must have already been in holiday mode, backing just one winner from five games.
Hawthorn beat the Western Bulldogs on Friday night, which gave us a collect of $2.05, and while we backed Richmond to win on Sunday, they won by too many points, so if you can please keep it down for us next time boys, we would appreciate it.
If Conor McGregor had have held on for two more rounds then we would have collected a nice return of $3.75, but he couldn’t, and Mayweather moves on to a perfect record of 50-0. Well played Floyd.
Our overall result for the weekend was a return of $132.50 if you bet $10 per selection, which is not great, but we’ve already got our heads down studying the form so this time next week, it will be a different story.
