Golf Betting: World Golf Championships Predictions

Thu, Mar 10, 5:02am by Kevin Pitstock

This stop on the PGA tour will take place in Doral, Florida at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa from March 11-14, 2011. This is a relatively new tournament as it started in 1999. Tiger Woods has won this event 6 times since its inception. He holds the tournament record with a -25 in 2002. Tiger is currently 12/1 to win this tournament that has escaped him since 2007.

Phil Mickelson is 17/1 to win as he holds the #5 ranked golfer in the world. Lefty is playing well in all phases of the game and always has a chance to win. Graeme McDowell has never played well at this event but he is the #6 ranked player on the tour and certainly capable to win this event. McDowell is 15/1 odds from Centrebet to win.

Martin Kaymer is the #1 ranked golfer in the world and he has the best odds to win the World Golf Championship. Most of Kaymer’s wins have been in outside of the United States. He is a worthy player at 8/1 odds courtesy of Centrebet and finished 3rd in this event last year. He is the most consistent player.

Allow me to point a few sleepers for this event to help maximize your bet.
