Sportingbet Best Bets for Saturday 12th February, 2011
Michael Sullivan from Sportingbet Australia recommends the following:
Well backed last start but never has been a Moonee Valley horse. Feel this is her best distance and should get a nice one out run here.
Won by 12 lengths at Canberra and it would have been upwards of 15 if let go. Up in grade but looks well above average.
Good enough to run second in Caulfield Guineas but still starts at enormous odds whenever he runs. Is up to this class and represents a good each-way bet.
Super mare and despite a great first-up record I still feel she’s at her best after one run. Always happy to risk at these sort of odds.
We have been forced to halve her quote from $15 to $7.50 for the former Sydney-trained filly.
Centrebet Best Bets for Saturday 12th February, 2011
Neil Evans from Centrebet Australia recommends the following:
The 1400m second-up, with less pace, is the key. She parks just off the speed and away from the fence and drop them on the point of the turn.
No fancy price, but punters can back this with confidence. Looked terrific in recent trial win, and she will be a serious player come Golden Slipper time.
Drawn awkward and get backs, but goes enormous fresh. Vigourous Chris Symons is the ideal rider for a terrific each-way chance.
Going very well, but is under the odds for the step up to Group II level. A host of very good horses to beat here.
Tough race, but punters continue to back this noted first-up sprinter. Has great strike-rate and three wins and two seconds from five fresh runs.
