UFC Fight for the Troops 2 Tips
Guillard at $2.88 to beat Dunham
In the main event, Dunham is on the rebound after a last fight loss to Sean Sherk. On the other hand Guillard, is a dynamic fighter with great speed and strength and dangerous punching ability. Dunham is a wrestler who’ll look to take this fight to the ground, and Guillard will try and keep this fight stand-up and exploit his hand speed. There’s really only two options here Guillard by KO or Dunham by submission. We are on Guillard to stun Dunham and inflict his second loss in a row.
Mitrione at $1.37 to beat Hague
Tough Tim Hague takes on Ultimate fighter Matt Mitrione. Hague is back after 3 failures in a row say him dropped from the UFC roster and he is facing Mitrione who is yet to lose since his stint on the reality MMA fighter show. Hague is a mauler who has a dangerous KO but Mitrione has the full game. A puncher always has a chance but Mitrione is too slick, too polished and equally as hard as evidenced by his victory of fellow brawler Kimbo Slice. Mitrione by KO.
Barry at $1.51 to beat Beltran
Absolutely no chance this fight is being decided by points or submission. Both heavyweights will seek to keep this a survival of the hardest with some of the hardest punching and standup you’ll see inside the octagon. Two tough games standing toe to toe, both saying “I am”. Only one will leave with head held high and with Barry’s ability to use leg kicks to advantage as well as his power, Beltran is going to be worn down before he is knocked down. Barry by KO.
Given the nature of this website this might seem an odd place to voice this tribute, but it would be remiss of us to mention the UFC fight for the troops without taking a moment to reflect on our own special history and an occasion today which honours one of our own true heroes and a bloke who I’m sure is the pride of his unit, his family and indeed his country.
In Perth today, Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith, a member of our elite SAS unit is being honoured with Australia’s highest honour, the Victoria Cross.
The man is credit to himself, his wife and his children, and we ask that everyone one of our readers who have sense of self, take just a moment to acknowledge the incredible sense of duty, bravery and self sacrifice that Roberts-Smith has portrayed to be awarded this honour.
We would all like to think that in a given situation, we have it in us to stand tall and say “I am”, but in Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith VC we have a man who has been asked the ultimate question and answered with unwavering conviction.
Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith VC we salute you.
