Americas Cardroom is the flagship site on the ‘Winning Poker Network’. This is a group of sites which pool their player base to a common back end. Known as ‘ACR Poker’, this online poker site welcomes players from the US and around the world – though is not currently available to Australian players.

Bonuses and Promotions

Americas Cardroom has a big welcome bonus, which will get even bigger if you choose cryptocurrency as your deposit option.

The regular bonus is a 100% match up to $1000 on your first deposit. This becomes a 200% bonus with crypto deposits. The minimum qualifying deposit for any banking method is $25. There is no bonus code required.

Your bonus will be paid out in increments of $1 every time you earn 27.5 Award points. They are awarded every time you pay rake in cash games – or enter a tournament and pay a fee. You have a total of 60 days to clear the initial welcome bonus.

Deposit bonuses continue for regular players. If you deposit with any cryptocurrency you can take advantage of a 25% deposit bonus and gain a maximum of $100 in bonus cash at any time. Clear $5 of this bonus every time you rack up 120 bonus points.

Freerolls on Demand

Americas Cardroom offers an innovative approach to offering freerolls. Instead of them starting at set times, they play more like sit and goes. Any time a $50 On Demand freeroll tournament fills with 270 players, it will start, and a new event will begin the registration process. These make a great way to build your poker bankroll from scratch.

The Beast Leaderboards

Any time you play at any of the cash game tables you start earning points towards ‘The Beast’ leader board. One point is earned for every $0.02 in rake. The more points you earn, the higher up the leader board you move. This competition runs from midnight Saturday to 23:59 on Friday night weekly and offers up thousands of dollars in prize funds. Players can also win entry into the Million Dollar Sunday prize tournament.

Sit and Crush

Sit and Crush is another weekly leaderboard, designed for sit and go players. Run weekly, players can earn thousands of dollars in cash and free tournament entries by playing any Sit and Go, Jackpot Poker games or On Demand tournaments.

ACR Poker Loyalty Rewards: Elite Benefits

Elite Benefits is the loyalty reward program offered by Americas Cardroom. As you play, you earn reward points and collect medals of achievement along the way, each awarding cash prizes.

There are six levels to this reward program – Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, General and 5-Star General. As you move through each level, the awards become better, as your reward points gain ever-increasing multipliers. Other awards include freerolls and purchasing cash for your points, ranging from just $50, through to an incredible $10,000.

The lobby in Americas Cardroom is crowded, with many options for poker players of all bankroll levels. The software is designed using a series of tabs, each focusing on a different poker format. The blue upper tabs let you choose the game type, while the black lower tabs let you filter your selection – for example, you could choose ‘Hold’em’ in the upper tab, then ‘No Limit’ and ‘Micro’ (stakes) in the lower tabs.

Cash Games

Players can enjoy cash games with 6 or 9 players, with blinds starting at the $0.01/$0.02 level and rising up to $200/$400 buy-in level. Poker tables have a selection of colourful cartoon-like avatars, giving the games a social feel. Most games are NL Hold’em, though the PLO section has a growing following.

Poker Tournaments

Several tournaments start hourly at Americas Cardroom, with events designed for all bankroll levels. There are guaranteed tournaments, steps, satellites and freerolls on offer. The highlight tournament of Americas Cardroom is ‘The Venom’ which is advertised as ‘the biggest online poker tournament ever offered by a US-facing site’. Weekends see an enhanced schedule. The best time to enjoy guaranteed prize pools is when the Online Super Series tournament events are running.

Sit and Goes

Small tournaments which start when the tables are full start at just $0.50 (lower if you are playing a satellite), all the way up to $100 buy-ins for full table games, and up to $500 if playing heads-up poker. Play Venom satellite sit and goes for even higher stakes.

Blitz Poker

This is Americas Cardroom’s fast-fold cash game. When playing a Blitz game, you enter the online poker room and move table to table playing. Every time your involvement in your current hand ends you are instantly moved to a new table where a hand is about to begin.

Jackpots

These are lottery sit and go tournaments at ACR. They are 3-player hyper-turbo games. The prize fund is randomly awarded, meaning you can win between 2x and 2,500x your buy-in in any game you play. With just 500 chips and 3-minute levels, these games never last long.

Casino and Sportsbook

You can access both the online casino and the sportsbook direct from the lobby of the poker software client – navigating to each area via its own tab. The online gaming casino features over 100 slots and a large range of classic games such as blackjack and roulette. There is also a live dealer casino for you to enjoy, where the action is streamed live to your device from the casino floor.

Banking Methods

Americas Cardroom has a preference for deposits using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. With many mainstream deposit and withdrawal options from their biggest market (the USA) restricted, this is a popular option.

While Bitcoin is the best-known coin – there are 60 different cryptocurrencies you can deposit with. They include Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash.

You can make a withdrawal using any of the deposit methods above. If your deposit method cannot accept withdrawals, you can opt to receive a cheque.

Creating an Account

To play poker at Americas Cardroom you first need to download the mobile app poker software. This download will take no more than a couple of minutes. To register a new account, hit the ‘Login’ option at the top right-hand corner of the lobby, and then ‘Create New Account’ below the login boxes.

You will be asked for a poker nickname, to submit a password and your email address on the first page, before submitting your address on the next page. After a quick e-mail verification step, your account is ready to go.
