Take on the Pyramid in this Game Show Based Pokie!
The ‘Pyramid’ game show has been on TV screens for nearly half a century, having debuted back in 1973. The original show offered a prize of $10,000 but inflation has seen this number rise over the years. A $20,000, $25,000 and $50,000 edition of the show have come and gone – with the $100,000 version first hitting the screens in 1991. The show was revived recently and hosted by Michael Strahan. Other famous hosts of the show include Dick Clark and Donny Osmond.
This pokie version of the $100,000 Pyramid features a host of prizes on the reels, with an exciting bonus feature which gives you a shot at joining the winners circle.
Highlights of The $100,000 Pyramid
Look out for the ‘Winner’s Circle’ bonus symbol that appear throughout the base game. Land three or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reels and you’ll activate the $100,000 bonus feature.
You’ll now be faced with the pyramid, displaying five levels of picks, each displaying a golden pyramid on a red background. You’ll start the feature with a total of 5 picks from the pyramid. Your initial award is 2 free spins and a 1x multiplier.
Each time you make a pick you’ll be awarded either more free spins or an increase in the multiplier. You’ll start on the bottom row of the pyramid, with one symbol on each layer containing an ‘advance arrows’ to move you onto the next level. As you move from level to level the size of the prizes increase. For example, on the bottom level you might earn one additional free spin but reach the top of the fifth level and 10 extra spins will be yours. Some picks will also award additional picks too, giving you more of an opportunity to make it to the upper levels of the pyramid.
If you activate the feature with more than the minimum 3 bonus symbols required, the awards on the pyramid will be greater and there will be more ‘advance’ arrows.
When you run out of picks this part of the feature ends and you’ll them embark on the free spins – with your ‘won’ number of spins and multiplier combination. Unfortunately, you can’t retrigger the bonus feature. Instead, hitting a series of bonus symbols will award a scatter prize, with a top prize of 15x your total bet.
