Sportingbet Australia punters have made a long price plunge on the Scott Aspery trained Flight Of Pegasus in tomorrow’s Skyline Stakes.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said the Fusaichi Pegasus gelding had been backed in from $51 to $31 and the money was still coming.
“We’ve taken a couple of bets to win $25,000 and the roughie is really the only one punters have come for in this race so far,” said Sullivan.
“There’s certainly nothing wrong with Scott Aspery’s strike rate and punters are prepared to back him to train a Group 3 winner with one of his first runners.”
Hot Snitzel and Uate share $4.00 favouritism for the Skyline ahead of Written Consent at $4.60.
