Sportingbet Australia are now accepting entries for their 2011 Last Man Standing competitions for both the AFL and NRL. If you are unfamiliar with the structure of the Last Man Standing then we’ll give you a quick rundown so you can easily join.
First off, if you don’t already have an account with Sportingbet Australia make one now. The competition works by selecting one winning team each week in either the NRL or the AFL.
All you have to do is choose one winning team each week. You get one selection, if you selecting correctly you progress to the next week. There are plenty of different strategies to win the $50k cash that Sportingbet Australia has on offer.
Some punters like to select the shortest priced favourites each week, their theory is that the biggest mismatch each week will be where the shortest odds are available.
Other punters like to line bet rather than head to head. The analyse the fixtures each week and decide what they think the biggest discrepancy is. Perhaps a certain team has poor home form, yet they have to overcome a big line to cover. These astute punters will get on the away team.
Obviously there are plenty of different strategies and ways to approach the Last Man Standing. It is a hell of a lot of fun, exciting because there is 50k on offer and competitive. If you are anything like me, then you probably think you can beat all the other schmucks in the competition. Put that cockiness to the challenge and get involved and take your chance to win the 50k.
You will have to try and beat me in the process. Make an account at Sportingbet here.
